The time for leaving is nearly here. Almost all of my worldly belongings are packaged up in boxes and being packed into our hired van for the journey tomorrow.
We'll be leaving at 3am (!) and it's going to be a long old trek. No doubt they'll be teary goodbyes within the next couple of days, something I'm not looking forward to. I don't think being away from home will be too bad once I'm settled in, I'll be too busy to miss it, but I think saying goodbye to my parents and (yes, I have to admit it) my little brother is going to be pretty painful.
Having said that, I absolutely cannot wait to get moved in, meet my new corridor buddies and get into the full swing of Fresher's week!
Kind of bittersweet, really.
